Our Class

Once upon a time, in Hamilton, New Zealand, there was a class called Room 4 at Insoll Avenue School. They were all brainy, hardworking and clever children who were all trying their best. They knew about respect, leaders and being positive citizens. They looked after their belongings, other people and were responsible and they were kind and caring to others.
These children never give up, make great choices and are excellent role models who have goals hopes and dreams.
They look after their school and the people there and they face their fears.

  2. Well that sounds like a class of people I would like to meet. Keep it up Room 4. Up here in Kaipara Flats, near Warkworth, we are thinking about some of the same things as you. Our whole school is celebrating people who stick with it at the moment. Good to hear that others know this is important.

  3. Hello Room 4
You sound like a fabulous class. My sister used to go to Insoll Avenue school, but that was 19 years ago! We used to live close to your school too - on Tramway Road just across from Insoll Avenue.
I look forward to visiting your blog during the year and reading about all the exciting things you are up to. You might like to visit my class blog too. I teach Year 3 children in Auckland and they have just started their blog too. You can visit their blog at http://mrsmacscyberkids.blogspot.com/

  6. WOW! I would love to have a class like that. In fact I do, in Tasmania, Australia. My grade 6/7 class is also like what you have described and they are now becoming global citizens by using their blogs and taking part in the 2009 student blogging challenge.

  15. Hi Room 4. You sound like a wonderful class to teach every day. If you continue like that you'll be just like my class of Year 6/7s in Adelaide, South Australia. Keep up the good work. I'm interested in following your learning adventures.
